Well folks we finally have all the pieces in and whoa, the nursery is complete. We still have a few last minute things to take care of but there’s no hurry to them. Ariel still has full use of her room. (that’s a lie coz she has not spent a single night in her nursery yet)

And now we give thanks:
Thank you to Daddy for painting the walls and installing wooden floors.
Thank you to the furniture store for providing such awesome furniture.
Thank you to Todd/Daddy/Uncle Dhruv for carrying the furniture upstairs and setting up the nursery.
Thank you to Grandma Nargis for setting up all the clothes and accessories in ariel’s nursery, and keeping the nursery organized coz mommy lacks those organizational skills.

Ariel was “escorted”* by mommy and daddy to her first Official 2 week checkup. Dr Barry, who is the fabulous pediatrician, said she looks awesome. Her reflexes are good, she’s gained all her birthweight back plus 2 ounces, the nursing seems to be working, and she’s all around in good general health. Mommy heaved a sigh of relief, thinking in her mind “good i didn’t break the speck”.

Next checkup is in 2 weeks. July 10th 2006.

*Royalty is always escorted.

Alert the Media, Princess Ariel Cohen comes home.

Ariel’s homecoming was an event in it’s own right. Grandma Nargis performed a hindu ritual for new babies first homecoming (hope that explains the red dot aka bindi). Aunt Kris and Uncle Dhruv also helped welcome ariel home.

Ariel arrived Saturday June 10th, 2006 at 3:42 pm by cesarean section weighing in at 7 pounds 6.6 oz and 20 inches long.
