An inside glimpse to family madness…
An inside glimpse to family madness…

This little Speck has gone from what Grandma Nancy called a DOT, to this person that is well on her way to walking and talking and perhaps being a rocket scientist or something. With Daddy’s Genius brain cell to partake of who knows, anything is possible. But for now the accomplishments of the past week to week and a half have been Marvelous.
This kid is already doing it all.
She CRAWLS!!! I mean I really thought she would go from sitting to standing to walking and skip the whole crawl thing, since she wasn’t too motivated to get a move on, but BOY was I wrong.
She furniture cruises already. I KNOW!!! I was in shock again. We put her in her Playzone and left the door open to see what would happen. Well this kid had had enough of the toys, so she decided to crawl across the playzone (which was littered with toys) and crawl right over the lip of the doorway, and stand herself up at the coffee table. Now that’s not all of it, because she then began to cruise the coffee table corner and slide on over to plant herself infront of the iMac keyboard so someone would turn on Babylooba for her. She even lets go of the coffee table and transfers her hands to the sofa all by herself.
She’s still a little wobbly for walking on her own, but i can tell you this, She is one motivated “mover and shaker”.
Also, the sounds that come out of this creature are incredible. ” Baa-Baa, Taa-Taa, Haa (like heavy breathing) Maa-Maa, Daa-Daa” and the list goes on. Grandma calls her Ms Chatty!!
Oh, AND she WAVES Bye bye (or HI, hasn’t quite figured out the concept yet) But she’s a regular Monkey See Monkey Doo GAL. All week long she’s been waving her little arm to anyone who pays any attention. Now that’s one for the Books!!!
“Great things are in your future little Speck.”
Ps. Yes we know mommies see great achievements in little things.

It was dinner time on saturday night. Spinach and potatoes with rice cereal was on the menu. Grandma was in the kitchen feeding her precious angel, while Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Doo, were playing Wii. Grandma yelped for joy as she spotted Speck’s first tooth. We all rushed in andd surrounded Speck to see or feel that little white jewel. Yes, her first tooth broke skin finally. Gone are the days of our Toothless wonder. Entering into the world of toothbrushes, tooth pastes, dental floss, and mouthwash we are.
